How is the Diploma structured?

The Diploma has three main components. These are:

Principal learning - you will develop knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes relevant to the sector and will have opportunities to apply these to work based situations within realistic environments.

Additional/specialist learning - you can choose from a range of approved qualifications and units, in some cases following a pathway approved by an employer or higher education institution.

Generic learning - you will have the opportunity to develop and apply skills and knowledge necessary for learning, employment and personal development.
