At each level of the Diploma - Foundation, Higher and Advanced - Generic Learning includes:

• Functional Skills in English, Mathematics and Information and Communication Technolgy (ICT)

• Personal, Learning and Thinking Skills (often referred to as PLTS) – these are incorporated within the Principal Learning of each Diploma  

• A minimum of 10 days work experience

• The project
