Sport and Active Leisure Learning I have to do

Sport and Active Leisure - Learning I have to do.

Principal learning in the Sports and Active Leisure Diploma covers the breadth of the sector through three themes of learning:

Sport and Active Leisure and the Individual

Sport and Active Leisure and the Economy

Sport and Active Leisure and the Community

At each level of learning, (Foundation, Higher and Advanced) the themes are split into sub-topics. The sub-topics have specific learning outcomes that link to the key processes developed through engagement in the learning oportunities. It is these learning outcomes that learners will be assessed against. The outcomes of the themes and sub-topics will be achieved through learning in a range of contexts (e.g. in the contexts of sport, health and fitness, playwork, stadium management and safety, the outdoors and sports media).
