BAF and BTEC Business Students took part in The Creative Puzzle event on 20 November that was designed to assist participants in focusing what their ambitions might be through engagement with workshops and exploring practical and imaginative challenges.

Working in partnership with Plymouth College of Art, Plymouth's Department for Children's Services and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Plymouth, this regional arts conference was planned specifically for schools and colleges in the south-west.  The conference was provided a dynamic environment where students could gain direct hands on experience through workshops which built towards a public exhibition.  The event was opened by a local arts graduate, Danny Bamping, owing of Bedlam Puzzles.

The Business students were tasked with promoting the exhibition through the development of a poster and press release.

The Business, Administration and Finance Diploma (BAF)  will offer a high quality, innovative blend of general education and applied learning that will enhance your school/college's offer to learners.

The BAF Diploma is being developed with the help of a range of stakeholders including higher education, colleges, schools and training providers.  As part of the development process we have engaged with employers from a range of industries to ascertain the knowledge and skills they consider are required within the Diploma in order to ensure it will prepare young people for work.

We have also engaged with Higher Education Institutions to ensure the content, at the Advanced Level, will be suitable to enable the learner to progress to higher education.
