Institute of Hospitality 

 

The Institute of Hospitality (the professional association for Hospitality Managers) is having is termly meeting at the University's Pilgrims Cafe.  The theme of the meeting is 'The Diploma'.  The Higher students will be serving refreshments throughout the day and be on hand to answer questions		      

1st day of the course

 

 

 

This year's Foundation students spent a morning at the Fish Market on the Barbican and had a tour of the facilities there.  They then chose some fish and went back to the school and were taught how to cook them.  Tasted good apparently.  The Higher students spent the day at Ockham Farm in Torquay where they learnt about organic produce, wheat production and how to make bread,
